Introducing the Fates family, a mythical mashup of the three fates and mother-maiden-crone lore, reimagined in the style of the Golden Girls. Combining my love of mythology and lore with 1980s nostalgia, this is a concept that’s been on my mind for a while now, and I was so excited to finally make it happen!
To create this magical world, I put my skills in set design and wardrobe styling to the test. Soft pastel colors and blond wood tones, characteristic of the 80s, were incorporated, while the lighting was warm and soft, reminiscent of the era yet still fresh and flattering. Our three talented actors fully embraced their respective characters, while my hair and makeup team was instrumental in bringing everything together, transporting us back to peak 1980s.
