Did you know…
…that the steepest street in the world is Baldwin Street, located in Dunedin, New Zealand? Measuring at 35% grade, it’s a doozy to walk up (I should know, I’ve done it!)

I’ll keep this one short and sweet. Five years ago, I came up with the idea of a woman pushing a car up a steep hill in a red dress. As you are all well aware, sometimes life gets in the way of actually executing our ideas, and this one sat on the backburner for many years. That is, until recently, when I was driving through the city and came across these colorful and vibrant houses. I knew these would make a beautiful backdrop to the idea I had in my head, but there was one teeny tiny problem—they were on a very flat street!
Undeterred by this minor inconvenience, I photographed the homes anyway, and followed this up with a studio session with my model. Pulling some other stock imagery from the endless depths of my own personal photography asset collection, I was able to build this surreal dreamscape and finally get this one out of my head and out into the world. One down, only a million more to go!
